Meet the artist.
Ashley Laren is an artist and freelance art teacher currently based in Springfield, Missouri, but was born and raised in Leawood, Kansas. In 2019, Ashley received her Bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University in Art History with minors in Museum Studies and Studio Art.
Her oeuvre has developed over time from acrylic paintings which incorporate mixed media such as newspapers, puzzle pieces, and glitter, to more bold, abstract, and colorful landscapes of some of America’s most beautiful locations. Ashley’s landscape paintings are inspired by her own travels across America. When traveling, she always brings her camera with her to capture images of nature from national parks, mountain ranges, forests, deserts, and more. Our own natural world around us serves as the greatest influence towards her current paintings.
Ashley is open to working with fellow artists and art-lovers to collaborate or create custom pieces.
